Contemplating life at 102. Not me; the temperature that Maryland will be today.
In my last Open House, the property was so wonderfully well-insulated that we placed a single air-conditioner window unit upstairs in one of the bedrooms and then placed a fan on the landing of the stairwell that "oscillated" the air back and forth. It cooled the house considerably.
When we had visitors to the Open House, one of them exclaimed, "I thought that this house didn't have central air!" It didn't.
It's just surprising that that unit worked so well!
