Naturally Repellent

I was reading about some natural repellents for household pests, some out of household also. Here's a handy list: 

Flies ... crushed basil in a bag
mosquitoes ... catnip
citrus spray ... spiders
vinegar ... ants
deer and ungulates ... bar of "Irish Spring"soap
